As apart of our goal to support 1 million small businesses by 2030, we’re partnering with LISC to provide more than $1M in grant funding to small businesses. A new round is launching, so register for Verizon Small Business Digital Ready and apply.

State Trade Expansion Program (STEP)

STEP is funded in part through a grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and is administered by Idaho Commerce. The goals of STEP are to increase the number of small businesses that export, increase the value of exports and increase the number of small businesses exploring significant new trade opportunities.

Idaho Gem Grant

Idaho Gem Grants are focused on job creation and retention. Awards are limited to the hard implementation costs of economic development projects. Examples of eligible projects include water and sewer infrastructure for new a business, remediation of slum and blight conditions blocking business development, and matching funds for the creation of assets with a high certainty of aiding future economic development efforts. Up to $50,000 in funding available!
